The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.

So I am an extremely curious person and once something catches my attention, I become totally fixated and I want to learn everything I can about that topic.
On any given day, I am either leaving the library with a stack of books, ohhhing and ahhhing over other peoples creations on Etsy or other blogs, or flipping through every new craft magazine and book I can get my hands on at the bookstore. One of the things I love about sewing is being able to come up with an idea in my head and making it come to life with my sewing machine.
My inspiration comes from so many things like books, other blogs, fashion, and I love to take that inspiration and document it in my journal or sketch book. I love opening to a fresh blank page of a composition book with graph pages (perfect for sketching out and planning sewing patterns) or a large sketch book just for doodling.
One of the things I've been really interested in is finding ways to use my fabric scraps. I have a ton of scraps left over from past projects and I kind of made a pledge to myself that I was not allowed to buy any more fabric until I have used up some of my scraps - also I have like no room for any more fabric.
So since I'm dying to visit the fabric store and actually BUY something, I came up with some new journal covers which I plan to add to my in my Cosmic Girl Designs Etsy shop soon. Tell me what you think!
Another project I would love to try is maybe a scrappy quilt or quilt sample - like the one I found here Brown Paper Packages: Scatter Sunshine Scrappy Quilt Tutorial - since I have little patience for making a whole quilt!
How about you? I would love to hear how you use up all those yummy fabric scraps!
