Needless to say things have been a little crazy in the Watson household.
Since my last post we:
Celebrated Christmas - one of our best ones to date!
I've completed one Demo (Quilter's Journal) and taught one class (Scrappy Journal Cover) at our local quilt shop; People, Places and Quilts. Online tutorials coming soon!
We've celebrated numerous birthdays including my daughters' Mackenzie, who turned 12 and was given what we deemed as an "Extreme Bedroom Makeover". Future post with better pics coming soon!
And sadly we made a last minute trip to New York for the funeral of my beloved Grandmother, Aida Baez. She was an amazing woman, who taught me the power of having faith and the importance of family. She will be missed by her three children, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Love You Grandma!
While it's been a little rough adjusting to everyday life since we've returned from New York, I am thankful that I have sewing as a nice distraction. It's time for me to kick things into high gear and prepare for more classes and demos!
I'll be sure to post about those in the coming weeks and hopefully post corresponding tutorials for all to enjoy. Yay!
In the meantime, I hope your year has gotten off to a great start - I look forward to sharing adventures soon. :-)
